Professor E. Sandalcioglu is the head of the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Magdeburg since 2019. He is an expert on Microneursorgery and specialized in the area of Vascular Neurosurgery. Starting his training at the Department in Essen, he later became Head of the Department of Neurosurgery of the renowned Nordstadtclinic Hannover, now he is a mentor and a role model for many young colleagues. His active surgical career and everyday collaboration with the neurosurgical team are expression of his inner impulse for perfection and continuous education.
