Assoc. Prof. Dr. K.-P. Stein is vice-chairman at the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Magdeburg since 2021. As such, he possesses a broad experience in spinal as well as skull-base neurosurgery.  Being a coordinator of several scientific projects (Genetic basis of trigeminal neuralgia; Possibilities and limitations of Optic-Coherence-Tomography (OCT) in neurosurgery), Assoc. prof. K.-P. Stein possesses a wide knowledge in Neurooncology and especially in Glioma surgery. He collaborates in a close partnership with Colleagues from Neuroradiology, Neurology and Radiotherapy and thus organizes the therapeutic concept for patients with CNS-malignancies. We highly appreciated his participation in August 2022 with topic on Surgical Treatment of low Grade and high Grade Gliomas.
