Cavernoma - Cavernous Malformation (CM)
Similar to other angiomas, Cavernomas or Cavernous Malformations (CM) can also lead to hemorrhages with neurological deficits or epilepsy. Often, however, cavernomas are completely asymptomatic and are discovered by chance on magnetic resonance imaging.
A thorough evaluation of clinical and neurological symptoms with analysis of imaging findings (MRI, fMRI) are essential for a targeted personal consultation and, if necessary, the best possible treatment of cerebral and spinal cavernomas.
