Acute Psychiatry (Ward 1)
This is a locked ward with 20 beds on which patients with more severe mental disorders are treated whose symptoms have become so acute that particularly careful treatment conditions are required. Acute life crises can also be given effective help here. Sometimes such acute states are associated with a risk to the patient themselves or to others. In addition to drug treatment, targeted psychotherapeutic interventions are the main focus here. The aim of treatment is to move the patient on to inpatient or outpatient therapy as quickly as possible.
