Prof. Dr. J. Voges is Chairman of the Department of Stereotactic Neurosurgery at the University Hospital, Magdeburg. After finishing residency in Heidelberg he worked for long period in the Clinic of Neurosurgery in Cologne, Germany. Working together and learning from Prof. Dr. V. Sturm he proved himself very early as expert in Deep-Brain-Stimulation and Neuromodulation. Since 2008, Prof. Voges continuously further develops therapeutic options for patiens with movement disorders. In 2019 he established as one of the first clinics in Germany MRI Guided Laser Ablation. We are thankful for his participation, support at the symposium and continuous mentoring.
