Dr. K. Hartmann
Dr. K. Hartmann can already look back on a broad neurosurgical experience, with a focus on validation and implementation of novel technical approaches. He completed various internships, among them Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Hospital Calixto Garcia in Havanna and Charité Universitätsmedizin in Berlin. His residency began at Nordstadt Klinikum in Hanover and continued as a senior surgeon at the University in Magdeburg under close guidance of Prof. I. E. Sandalcioglu - an expert on vascular neurosurgery. His intrinsic motivation for neuroscience lead to fruitful collaborations with Prof. Dr. Eckart Altenmüller at HMTMH, the International Neuroscience Institute in Hanover and Dr. Floris van Vugt at the Montreal Neurological Institute. His research group could demonstrate for the first time solely early training related functional brain networks and the first visualization of the human subarachnoid space in vivo. The foundation of the Neurosymposium reflects his pursuit of lifelong learning and reciprocal reflection.
