A. Hamdan is young resident and part of the team of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Magdeburg. Her excellent understanding of neurobiology together with her strive for gaining broad knowledge have made her a part of the neurosurgical scientific laboratory under the directorate of Dr. rer. nat. Claudia Dimitru. Her main topic of study is the characterization of molecular mechanisms involved in Glioblastoma pathophysiology, in particular the mechanisms controlling tumor cell proliferation, invasion and resistance to therapy.
